A locally owned and operated pharmacy, we specialize in servicing and supporting the mental health community. We serve clients with mental illness, behavioral health disorders, substance abuse disorders and developmental delays.  

Service and knowledge is the core of our business.  Our dedicated and experienced pharmacists work on-on-one with customers to carefully manage and monitor their medications as well as their well-being and mental health.  The specialized services we offer are designed to empower individuals with mental illness to remain independent, even with complicated medication regimens. Through compassion and commitment, we encourage independence in the mental health community by bridging the gap between their illness and prescription needs.

		Rob Leland – Pharmacy Manager and Owner Rob is the founder and head pharmacist of 1st Avenue Pharmacy. With a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from WSU and 10 years experience working directly with mental health providers and consumers.  He possesses the expertise and knowledge required to provide the mental health community with innovative services and compassionate, one-on-one attention.  Rob became a Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist in 2008.
		Brandy Singer – Clinical Pharmacist Brandy is an Adjunct Faculty member at the Washington State University College of Pharmacy. She has 9 years of extensive experience in psychiatric pharmacy as a clinical pharmacist at Eastern State Hospital.  Brandy has completed a specialized psych-pharmacy residency at Sacred Heart Medical Center here in Spokane as well as a general practice residency in hospital pharmacy. Her main areas of interest are in education of providers and consumers of mental health care.  Brandy is also a Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist.
		Dana Larson - Clinical Pharmacist Dana is our newest pharmacist team member. She graduated from Washington State University and trained in a wide range of clinical pharmacy services. We're glad to have her aboard!

Luke VanVoohris, Tia Fichtenberg, Sarah Parker-Green, Angela Haworth,  Sherry Nelson Pharmacy Technicians Our support staff play a key role at 1st Avenue Pharmacy.  Pharmacy technicians work in the role of filling prescriptions and customer service thus allowing pharmacist to focus on patient care.  Tia is a nationally certified pharmacy technician.
